In human spaceflight, confidence cannot come from a claim. It must be built through clear requirements, thoughtful architecture, disciplined verification and evidence that supports each successive decision.

Prevent

Begin by designing risk out.

Prevention starts with human-factor requirements, material choices, system margins, mission constraints and fault-aware architecture. The objective is to address foreseeable hazards before they become operational problems.

Detect

Make changing conditions visible.

Environmental sensing, vehicle-health monitoring, fault identification and mission-control awareness are intended to provide the information needed to recognize an off-nominal condition early.

Isolate and stabilize

Protect the system that remains.

Fault containment, electrical isolation, software partitioning and safe-state strategies are studied together with attitude control, environmental preservation and communication continuity.

Recover

Design for the full path home.

Abort logic, return strategy, recovery operations, occupant extraction and post-flight support belong to one connected pathway. Recovery is treated as an architectural requirement, not a procedure added later.

Human factors

Safety must work for the person inside.

Reachability, readability, motion orientation, physical support, communication clarity and individual assistance needs influence how the cabin and its interfaces are defined.

Human-rating pathway

Status follows evidence.

The NB-01 public concept is not presented as human-rated, certified or operational. Future maturity states will be tied to clearly identified simulation, prototype, test and verification records.
